Connect Groups exist to help us grow in our relationship with God and with others. Our heart is that you would build lasting friendships and enjoy doing life together as a part of the ONE Community Church family.

THE IRRESISTIBLE HUSBAND

The bible speaks of husbands being leaders, providers and protectors.  This group's purpose is to bring husbands together and encourage honest dialogue about Biblical principles on becoming the husband of your wife’s dreams.


Day: Bi-Weekly – Thursday (will meet on opposite week of Builders Guild)

NORTH OF 40!

We are an adults only group that loves doing life together!  Some of our favourite bi-weekly activities include things like mini-golf, pot luck dinners, games night, bike rides, bowling, movie nights, nature walks and so much more.

MOM’S NIGHT OUT

A time for mom’s to get together (kid free) to talk and connect.

DNA w/ PASTORS PETER AND PEGGY

1 on 1 time with Pastors Peter and Peggy to find out the DNA of ONE Community Church.

THE BUILDERS GUILD

This MENS’s group will focus on guiding, encouraging and assisting the DIY’er at heart. With an emphasis on learning how to use the tools of the trade, even the first time DIY’er will enjoy bringing their project to life. This group will be led by Nate Rozon a master woodworker and builder.


Day: Bi-Weekly – Thursday evenings  (will meet on opposite week of Irresistible Husbands)

HEART & HOME

A group for women looking to lend a helping hand. We know that “many hands make light work” and that the best friendships are forged while working together. Bring a friend, bring your kids (ages 5+) to help share the load and let people in your world know that they are loved.


Day: Bi-Weekly – Tuesday evenings (will meet on opposite week of Mom's Night Out)

SUMMER BBQing

This group will meet on Saturdays, bi-weekly at the Hanvey home in Burlington to grill and mingle.

VOLLEYBALL

This is a connect group for people who love the game of beach volleyball, love some friendly competition and want to meet new people! Our goal is to provide a weekly volleyball sports event that encourages you to invite your friends, neighbours and coworkers to join in!

SONGWRITER CONNECT

This group will meet weekly with a focus on developing song writing skills, collaborating and finishing existing material and learning how to use apps to write and record songs.

KIDS CONNECT

A connect group just for kids! This group will meet weekly at local parks, playgrounds and splash pads to play and pray. There is no cost for this group unless a trip to LaSalle Park or Wild Waterworks is scheduled.

COOKING CLASS CONNECT

Cooking Class Connect is a casual, informative and PRACTICAL approach to cooking. We will show you the basics in order to build a solid cooking repertoire that will set you apart from the average cook. Food is life!!!


Day: BI-Weekly – Wednesday Evenings (will meet on opposite week of North of 40)
